Midterm Submission

Our group decided to do a horror/suspense film since we all love to watch these types of movies that keep you on the edge of your seat. This was also the kind of film all of our group members brainstormed and found interesting. The beginning of our film starts off a normal day for three girls having a fun time and shopping at University Town Center Mall. They have no clue that someone has been following them the whole time and will now follow them home. We have a lot of foreshadowing to create suspense and make you question what is coming next. Lighting was a big deal in our film because we wanted it to be darker to create a sense of reality and mystery. We use a few over the shoulder shots to display the point of view of the stalker and to promote a sense of frightfulness. Near the end of the film, the shots were way shorter in order to create suspense and keep the audience on edge.I was in the film the most to allow my group members to use their film making skills. I did shoot a few shots so I did get some camera use. Our group decided to use a large bold red font for the title and actors names because we wanted them to stand out and its around the holidays so it fits perfectly. We all learned a lot during the process of making this fill and I am excited to learn more.
